WALKING TOURS

Whether it’s a look at Twin Cities history or a taste of our food scene, we have a walking tour to please everyone.

Stroll through the streets of Minneapolis, St. Paul and the surrounding metro on one of our led or self-guided walking tours. From historic architecture and inspiring cityscapes to quaint storefronts and cafes, we have countless sights to take in. Lace up your walking shoes and start exploring.

Taste your way through the Twin Cities on a culinary tour with Taste Twin Cities or Twin Cities Food Tours. Both groups offer unique tours for groups wanting to learn more about the Twin Cities’ foodie scene as well as historical facts and cultural tidbits. Not to mention the delicious food you’ll get to sample along the way—on average these tours stop at five to six different restaurants, breweries or cafes.

The Fit Tourist is a Minneapolis-based group offering walking tours throughout the heart of the city. See sites like Target Field, the historic riverfront and mill area, bustling Nicollet Mall, the Walker Sculpture Garden and more. (If you crave a quicker pace, they also offer biking tours.)

Promoting the history and culture of the city, Preserve Minneapolis offers summer walking tours that highlight neighborhoods and architecture throughout the area. Choose your adventure from a laundry list of tours that include a riverfront excursion, a sampling of historic theaters, an insider’s look at the Milwaukee Avenue historic district and more.
