Minneapolis’ newest distillery and cocktail lounge proudly reside in what was once considered a rough-and-tumble sort of neighborhood, aptly named The Hub of Hell. The area was full of tippling houses—private bars in people’s homes during and after Prohibition—but has since seen a serious revival. Lawless Distilling is located southeast of downtown next to the Midtown Greenway bike trail, hence their Greenway Gin made from 100% Minnesota wheat.
