This Minneapolis distillery’s claim to fame is housing Minnesota’s first onsite cocktail room, where you can sip Fitzgerald Gin and L’Etoile Vodka year-round. (Both of which won gold and silver awards, respectively, at the Denver International Spirits Competition in 2016.) You can also get a taste of Apple du Nord, a spiced apple liqueur made from Minnesota-grown apples, a top-notch base for a mixed drink once fall arrives. Tours of this “grain-to-glass” distillery are available at various times Fridays and Saturdays, so you can get an inside look at every step of the distilling process. You’ll also find a food truck parked outside most days, and you can always bring in food from a long list of neighborhood restaurants.
