BAKER PARK RESERVE

Find your inner outdoorsman within these lakeside natural lands’ 3,000 acres

Well known for its more than 200 campsites, Baker Park offers nearly 3,000 acres of natural landscape on the shores of scenic Lake Independence in Maple Plain. Only 20 minutes west of Minneapolis, the park is the perfect spot to get away from the city without actually leaving the Cities.

Within the park is the Baker Near-Wilderness Center, a rustic learning center where you can search for the many bird species that inhabit the surrounding forest and enjoy myriad other outdoor activities.
