As the largest amateur sporting and meeting complex in the world, National Sports Center in the northern suburb of Blaine hosts sports such as soccer, hockey, golf, track cycling, figure skating, lacrosse, broomball, football and rugby.

As the largest amateur sporting and meeting complex in the world, National Sports Center in the northern suburb of Blaine hosts sports such as soccer, hockey, golf, track cycling, figure skating, lacrosse, broomball, football and rugby. The facility features 52 grass fields (which earned a place in the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest soccer complex on the planet) and eight ice rinks (four Olympic size and four NHL size), and is currently home to the United FC soccer team. In total, the center offers 75,000 square feet of meeting and event space.
