What sort of music festivals do you have?
We have three festivals that come to mind right away: the Basilica Block Party, Soundset and Rock the Garden. While Soundset and Rock the Garden are set on somewhat predictable grounds (fairgrounds and a sculpture garden, respectively), the Basilica Block Party turns outdoor-music-festival-venue on its head. The entire festival occurs on the grounds of the Basilica of St. Mary located in downtown Minneapolis. If the venue isn’t enough to get you to buy a ticket, check out some of the headliners from past years: Ray LaMontagne, Death Cab for Cutie, Matt Nathanson, Weezer and more.
