Where is the best place to hear live music?
One thing that just about all Twin Citizens can agree on is that First Avenue & 7th Street Entry, commonly referred to as “First Ave,” is our best venue for live music. The downtown Minneapolis setting has long been the hub of our area’s local music movement. Minnesota’s beloved Prince made First Ave his regular venue, and even used it as the setting of his movie, Purple Rain. Today, concertgoers enjoy near-nightly shows on multiple stages in an intimate atmosphere.
