What are some well-located, affordable hotels in the Twin Cities?

by | Jul 5, 2017

Now that our light rail neatly makes its way through both downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul, I'm a big advocate for finding a hotel along the tracks. That way, you don't have to worry about walking far between your hotel and transportation to places like the Hennepin Theatre district, Nicollet Mall, museums like the Science Museum of Minnesota and the Children's Museum, and even Mall of America and the airport.

For the Minneapolis side of the cities, here are some affordable hotels that caught our eye: Radisson Red, AC Hotel Minneapolis Downtown and University Inn. In St. Paul, some hotels are the DoubleTree, Hotel 340 and Hyatt Place.
