Whether you want to ride with other golf enthusiasts or relax in the privacy of a taxi, transportation troubles won’t stop you from getting to the Ryder Cup.

SouthWest Transit

Catch a SouthWest Transit bus from two drop-off locations, SouthWest Village or Carver Station, where you can get to Hazeltine National Golf Club for $5 a day. The station in downtown Chanhassen is no longer available for Ryder Cup traffic and vehicle parking is not available at drop-off sites.

Canterbury Park

Canterbury Park’s free park and ride runs all week, giving 30-minute bus rides from Canterbury to Hazeltine. The busses will begin to operate half an hour before the tournament gates open and end a half hour after they close. A taxi to Canterbury from Mall of America costs around $55 when you include a 15 percent tip, according to Taxi Fare Finder.

City Secrets

When you’re not cheering on your favorite players at the green, take the METRO Blue Line from Mall of America and start exploring, as it connects with the METRO Green Line and numerous bus stops that will take you all over downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul.
