The Minnesota Opera, which performs at St. Paul‘s Ordway Center for the Performing Arts, recently celebrated its 50th anniversary and consistently produces an annual season of five shows that include great works from the classical canon as well as innovative new works. Examples of the latter include adaptations of Where the Wild Things Are, Wuthering Heights and The Grapes of Wrath, plus the world premiere of The Shining.
