SOO VISUAL ARTS CENTER

A space for provocative and underrepresented art in the Lowry Hill East neighborhood of Minneapolis.

Soo Visual Arts Center, locally known as SooVAC, resides in Minneapolis’ Lyn-Lake neighborhood. Its mission is to display provocative and under-represented art in a care-free, laid-back environment. Most pieces are from local artists, from mixed media to sculptural, incorporating everyday objects or remnants of odds and ends. SooVAC’s one large hall looks directly onto the street with a storefront entrance that welcomes passersby.
