Prince’s lyrics and presence found their way into the ears and hearts of many. From Paisley Park to First Avenue in downtown Minneapolis, mementos of his time here are sprinkled across the metro, allowing fans to retrace his footsteps.

Dakota Jazz Club: Prince would often show up at this cozy club unexpectedly and frequently to support local musicians taking the stage.

First Avenue: This popular music venue was host to a plethora of Prince’s concerts, and in 1983 the album version of “Purple Rain” was recorded here live.
