Where is your best theater district located?
The great thing about the Twin Cities is that we have incredible theater throughout the metro, from the heart of each downtown to the suburbs. In fact, we have the most theater seats per capita than anywhere but New York City! The highest concentration of theaters is in downtown Minneapolis where you’ll find Hennepin Theatre Trust (this consists of the New Century, Orpheum, Pantages and State theatres), plus the world-renowned Guthrie Theater, Children’s Theatre Co. and a few others. Downtown St. Paul is home to the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts, which has its own theater season as well as the Minnesota Opera and the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra.
